Heritage Christian School is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the North Central Association (NCA) and has recognition status by the Indiana Department of Education. HCS is also a member of the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) and the Indiana Non-Public Education Association.

Heritage Christian School admits eligible students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and tuition assistance programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
