Jennifer Nutter ('88)

For Jennifer Nutter, her grade school and high school alma mater is more than just a memory. In fact, she revisits the hallways and classrooms of the Elementary building every day, as one of the school’s most beloved teachers.

Kathryn Carpenter ('98)

Today, Kathryn is teaching music arranging, composing, recording, performing, and singing. She says that one of the greatest joys of music is continuing to grow, learn, and study.

Robert Vincent ('83)

Robert Vincent '83, has served on the pastoral staff of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Greenville, SC, for almost 19 years. He says the primary work of his role falls under the title of Church Education and Outreach.

Sally Ferguson ('81)

Sally Ferguson, resident of Jamestown, New York has been a freelance writer since 1996. She works to encourage women and supply them with tools to navigate the world through God’s word.

Jeremy Height ('09)

Jeremy Height '09, and family, will be traveling to Dakar, Senegal to join the mission work of the Church of the Nazarene.

Megan Schrock ('15)

We’d like to thank Megan Schrock ‘15, who was our marketing intern over the summer. Megan attends Valparaiso University where she is studying Marketing with a Business Analytics minor.

Jess Wolfe ('04)

Jess Wolfe recently sparked media attention doing what most HCS alumni do, grocery shopping.

Phil Owen ('79)

Phil Owen works as a Senior Specialist at Rolls-Royce coordinating research and technology programs for a group of departments and coordinating improvements to the computer tools they use.

Ben Billman ('03)

Congratulations to '03 graduate Ben Billman, who recently received his doctorate and will be a professor of sports management at Carson-Newman University this fall.

Krista Hess ('13)

Krista Hess recently graduated with a major in Guitar Performance from Belmont University. At the urging of her professors, she is staying in the Nashville area to pursue a music career. 

Hayden Wynja ('17)

Congratulations to recent alumnus, Hayden Wynja, who was selected in the 30th round of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft by the Atlanta Braves!

Jon Oren ('00)

2000 HCS graduate Jon Oren and his wife, Rachel, were finally reunited with their adopted son after a tumultuous two-years.

Scott Osborne ('13)

Scott was recognized by the City of Carmel over the weekend during the unveiling of his Geometric CityScape sculpture in downtown Carmel.

Julie Griffith ('00)

The doctor is in! Julie Griffith ('00) is an assistant professor of medical speech language pathology at Ball State University. 

James Houck ('10)

Congratulations to Wheaton Academy girls track coach, James Houck, who had three runners qualify for the Ohio state championships and one winning a state championship.

Stephen Toroni ('01)

Stephen Toroni, class of 2001, recently wrote a book titled, "Power Over the Pillow", which was recently released. He has been working in sales for the last several years in various industries.

Anthony Warrum ('13)

Congratulations to 2013 graduate, Anthony Warrum, who signed with the NFL's Dallas Cowboys over the weekend after playing wide receiver at Illinois State University!

Ed Blackwood ('78)

1978 HCS Alumnus, Ed Blackwood, now serves as the Director of Admissions and Student Services at the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary (RPTS) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Beth (Chitty) Green ('96)

Recently, the Alumni Association interviewed Beth (Chitty) Green, class of 1996, as she applies to become a judge on the Indiana Supreme Court.

Joel Harriman ('73)

Having been a pastor for the last 35 years, 1973 graduate, Joel Harriman has experienced first hand the Lord opening doors and guiding his life through ministry.

Tyasha Harris ('16)

Congratulations to 2016 graduate Tyasha Harris and the #7 South Carolina women's basketball team for winning the SEC basketball title over the University of Kentucky on Sunday.

Patrick Flanagan ('96)

Patrick Flanagan serves as the VP of Digital Marketing & Strategy at Simon Property Group where he leads the Digital Marketing Group.

Julia (Barnett) Tracy ('88)

In July, we profiled Julia Tracy and her impressive TV and music accomplishments. Julia has been busy with a new project - a movie she wrote, directed and produced called Chasing Grace.

Jenny Rennick ('11)

Jenny Rennick captured the attention of the Intermediate school students last week by telling her story of adventure in New Zealand with Youth with a Mission.

Jen (Brecheisen) Barnette ('05)

Jen (Brecheisen) Barnette, class of 2005, works as a wedding planner in Indianapolis through the business she owns named Four Leaf Events. 

DJ Blakemore ('93)

DJ Blakemore, class of 1993, will retire from the Air Force this June after 20 years of active duty. Currently stationed in Maryland, DJ is looking forward to some quality time with his family.

Elizabeth Wiley ('16)

2016 grad, Elizabeth Wiley, recently returned from a trip to Kenya that she describes as, “an experience that has impacted me more than my words can express.” Elizabeth spent ten days in Kenya, sharing the gospel and serving.

Sarah Billman ('07)

Sarah Billman is the Visitor Experience Manager for Hamilton County Tourism, Inc., a not-for-profit tourism and economic development organization in Indiana.

Leanne (Current) Moore ('01)

Leanne Moore is leading a very busy life as a Critical Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist and the Clinical Coordinator for the Pharmacy Department at Baylor Scott and White University Medical Center, a 1000+ bed hospital in Dallas, Texas.

Stephanie (Foley) Eastman ('04)

Stephanie Eastman first began her work in politics as an intern for Indiana's Governor Daniels. Through contacts while working as an intern she was connected with Senator Dan Coat's office in Washington, D.C.
