Heritage Day Camps

At Heritage Christian, summer equals fun — for girls and boys, for scientists and artists, for engineers and myth busters, for astronauts and programmers! The Heritage Day Camp program offers a unique environment where students can pursue their dreams. With a program that includes weekly field trips, daily Bible lessons, scholastic enrichment, outdoor activities, and arts & crafts, Heritage's Day Camps have something for everyone. Summer 2017 Day Camps

May 30-June 2: Art Extravaganza

(K-5th grade)
Creative campers will use different materials to create works of art. This Tuesday through Friday camp is sure to spark camper’s interests and imaginations. (Extended Care is available for an additional fee.)

June 5-9: Coding for Kids

(K-5th grade)
Campers will experience through games, activities and computer lab/iPad time learning what coding is all about. This week includes a field trip off campus on Friday, June 9, 2017 to The Stem Connection Farm in Indianapolis where campers will learn about Hoosier waterways and conservation. (Extended Care is available for an additional fee.)

June 12-16: To the Depths and Beyond

(K-5th grade)
Bricks 4 Kidz presenting A Pirate’s Quest LEGO Camp. Shiver me timbers as we explore the popular culture behind the life a pirate. Build a motorized pirate ship, a helm and an anchor as we batten down the hatches and prepare for mutiny. Protect the hands on deck by building a launching catapult. Beware me mateys, if it’s too late, you must abandon ship and build a rowboat to escape. Watch out for crocodiles! Anchors aweigh! A field trip off campus is included on Friday, June 16 to a local spray park. (Extended Care is available for an additional fee.)

June 19-23: Hot Wheels Physics

(K-5th grade)
Campers will be inspired to experiment and learn how physical forces influence the distance and speed hot wheels cars can travel. Can they achieve a greater speed or distance by changing the friction on the cars? Come join Hot Wheels Physics to create solutions to these challenges. This camp includes a field trip off campus on Friday, June 23 to the Indianapolis Children’s Museum to visit the Hot Wheels Exhibit. (Extended Care is available for an additional fee.)

June 26-30: LEGO WeDo Robotics

(K-5th grade)
LEGO robotics come to life this week. Campers will follow step by step instructions to build different a different robot each day. After construction is complete, campers then program sounds and movements for their robot. This camp includes a field trip off campus on Wednesday, June 28 to the Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre in Carmel, IN to see a production of Seussical. (Extended Care is available for an additional fee.)

July 10-14: Spring Hill Day Camp

(K-5th grade)
Campers spend the day participating in high energy activities such as the rock climbing wall, flying squirrel, ropes, archers, and more. For more information, visit Spring Hill's website. (Extended Care is available for an additional fee.)

July 17-21: Camp Invention

(K-6th grade)

Imaginations get their rocket fuel at Camp Invention. Campers are presented with fun, hands-on challenges that encourage creative problem solving, teamwork, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Inspired by the Inductees of the National Inventions Hall of Fame, this summer’s all-new curriculum allows campers to create their own personal, ultimate Spy Gadget Alarm Box, Launch water rockets, Explore a distant new exoplanet, and Design duct tape products and pitch them to mock investors. (Registration for this camp must be completed on the Camp Invention Website. Extended Care is available for an additional fee and an additional registration through Heritage Day Camps.)


July 24-28: Kingdom Tales

(K-5th grade)
Knights, Ladies, and Fairytales all wrapped up in one camp. Campers will create cardboard castles, drawbridges, build catapults, and learn about the Armor of God. This week also includes a field trip off campus on Friday, July 28. This field trip is yet to be determined and will be posted soon. (Extended Care is available for an additional fee and an additional registration.)
