4th Grade Teacher
Ann Hrinowich joined the Heritage community as a substitute teacher last spring, then came on as a fourth grade teacher this year. Before coming to Heritage, Ann previously held elementary teaching jobs in a Chicago suburb public school and also worked in ministry for over 10 years. Her favorite ministry was leading a high school girls small group; she still gets together with the girls, who are now in their mid-20s.
Ann knew from childhood that she wanted to be a teacher, often lining up her dolls to teach them. She studied Elementary Education at Elmhurst College and completed a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Ball State University.
Ann has loved her time at Heritage.
“I have never been in an environment that has been so welcoming,” she said. “I love the staff and parents here.”
In her spare time, Ann loves to travel and read. If we have a snow day, Ann will definitely be staying in and reading a book!
