Bryan Rimmer
Third Grade Teacher
Meet Bryan Rimmer, a new addition to the third grade teaching team this school year.
Bryan understands the value of a Christian Education as he attended a Christian school from preschool-eighth grade. “In my classroom, I want to show my students the love of Christ and help them develop a personal relationship with Him,” Bryan said. He also thinks it’s important to help students realize that it’s okay to make mistakes, “so long as we keep on trying and persevere.”
Bryan’s path to teaching took a round-about direction as he originally earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana Wesleyan University. After working as a reserve police officer for a year, Bryan felt God’s calling to teaching. He attended and earned his teaching license from Bethel University, and is “so thankful for following His direction,” he commented.
Bryan hopes to help Heritage students develop a life-long desire to learn and make learning fun.
In his free time, Bryan enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, watching movies and building LEGOs.
