Ellen Frankham - Elementary STEM Teacher

Ellen Frankham

Elementary STEM Teacher

Meet Ellen Frankham, Kindergarten – fourth grade STEM teacher. Ellen joined Heritage in 2019 as a third-grade teacher and began her new role as the STEM teacher for the 22-23 school year. Ellen has a special connection to Heritage as she is a Class of 2014 alumni and worked at Heritage Day Camps throughout her college years. ”I felt God continually leading me back to Heritage to pour into the lives of students, like my teachers had done for me,” Ellen said.

Ellen has wanted to be a teacher since she was a little girl. “We were homeschooled when I was young and so we had a classroom set up in our house. When playing with my siblings, I always wanted to be the teacher,” said Ellen. “I feel God put it on my heart at a young age to lead littles to Christ.” In her classroom, Ellen strives to share a love for STEM with elementary students and teach them all the different ways STEM is used in real-life jobs. She also shows them the many ways that God is all around us when we study science.

Ellen credits her parents with doing an incredible job raising her and giving her an amazing foundation for how to live her life for Christ. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and going on walks (when it’s nice outside). She recently became a mother to a baby boy and enjoys all the new things that motherhood is bringing to her life.
