Eric Larimer

Seventh Grade Science Teacher

Welcome to Heritage, Eric Larimer. Eric has joined Heritage as a seventh grade Science teacher. After earning his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Wheaton College, Eric went on to Liberty University and earned his master’s degree in Teaching Middle Grades Science.

In the classroom, Eric uses science to show students God’s amazing creation and character. “I want to point students to a real, vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus,” Eric said.

Prior to Heritage, Eric served as an Officer in the U.S. Army for ten years and 17 years as a missionary teacher in Guatemala. “I have a passion for teaching and missions and God has divinely nurtured this passion while leading me into the teaching ministry,” said Eric.

Today, Eric is most inspired by his wife. “She is dedicated to our family, supporting our three college-aged kids, all while serving Christ as a Christian Counselor,” stated Eric.

In addition to spending time with his family, Eric enjoys coaching basketball, hiking, fishing and the great outdoors.
