Elementary & Intermediate School STEM Teacher
Holyn Jacobson has been a part of the Heritage community since 2005—first as a student (Class of 2012), and now as the STEM teacher for the 5th and 6th grade and elementary school.
Jacobson has been surrounded by positive teacher influences for a long time. She had her favorite teacher in 2nd grade and recently got to work along side that role model as she grew in her love of teaching. Her mother, Nancy Jacobson, is also a Educational Support Services teacher at Heritage.
Holyn took on an adventure while student teaching in New Zealand and explores uncharted territory every day by introducing Heritage elementary students to STEM. She says she loves “helping [students] discover they are capable of so much” and “praying with students and sharing Bible verse with them.”
