Julia Clark
6th Grade Math Teacher
Julia Clark graduated from Taylor University with a BS in elementary education and a concentration in math. During her time there, she came to understand and love how her faith could be integrated in every aspect of her life, and she’s excited to pass on that mindset to her students at Heritage.
Before deciding to become a teacher, Julia was struck by how influential her own teachers had been in her life. “I was taught the love of learning, and I desire to pass that on as it is a lifelong journey,” she said. “Lessons in the classroom can help students face challenges both now and in the future. All of this led me to a career in education.”
Julia hopes that her students see their potential, and she wants each of them to know they can trust her. “Trusting in leadership is the key to feeling safe in every way—physically safe, safe to make mistakes, safe to ask questions, and safe to share information,” she said. “I will create a classroom environment where students feel safe.”
During her free time, Julia enjoys traveling, skiing, and watching sports. We’re so glad to have her join the Heritage family, and we know her students will feel the same!
