Lacy Katterhenry
Front Desk Receptionist
When she began her job at Heritage in 2015, Lacy Katterhenry was no stranger to the Heritage campus. Lacy and her husband, Kevin, both attended HCS and were high school sweethearts. Lacy then went on to study Early Childhood Education at IUPUI and Ball State University.
Lacy began pursing a career in education in high school after being a teacher’s assistant for Mary Lou Cooper - a 3rd grade teacher at the time. Lacy then transitioned to a first grade teacher's aide role and said that her favorite part about her job was getting to know each of her students individually…but “their hugs are pretty great too.” Now, Lacy serves as our front desk receptionist. She's probably greeted you when you've come on campus!
As alumni, it had been a long-time prayer of the Katterhenry’s to send their children to Heritage, they and are grateful for God’s provision, and for teachers who love the kids as their own. As a family, they enjoy watching each other play sports, travelling, and hiking.
