Laken Rosing
High School English Teacher
Laken Rosing serves as a High School English Teacher at HCS. Teaching has been Laken’s calling from a young age—she knew she wanted to be a teacher by the time she was 17, if not sooner. After declaring her major in education on her college application, she pursued this path with unwavering determination, earning both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Secondary Education from the University of Kentucky.
Laken’s transition to Heritage marked a significant shift from her background in public education. She describes this move as "a prayerful decision based on where the Lord was leading … not just me, but our entire family," highlighting her deep commitment to following God’s guidance in every aspect of her life.
In her classroom at Heritage, Laken says she hopes to “teach the beauty and necessity of language and communication, not only to better know and understand reading and writing but also to better know and understand the Lord and how to glorify Him."
One of the aspects Laken loves most about working at Heritage is the opportunity to share her faith openly and encourage her students to grow in theirs. Additionally, she cherishes being on the same campus as her own children, making her role at Heritage even more fulfilling.
