Riley Krause
7th Grade Math Teacher
Meet Riley Krause, our 7th-grade math teacher!
Riley has always had a passion for working with students. His experiences in coaching and tutoring led him to recognize a calling towards a career in education. Inspired by the impact his own teachers had on him, Riley is committed to building meaningful relationships with his students. He actively incorporates praise, prayer, and Scripture into his classes, aiming to make math an enjoyable subject for his students.
“I want students to enjoy math more than they did when they walked in my class at the beginning of the year,” Riley said.
Riley is excited to be working alongside other staff and teachers who are equally as passionate about the future generation. “Each teacher, staff, and administrator I have talked with sees every student as an individual with specific needs. Heritage doesn’t take a ‘one size fits all’ approach,” Riley said. “This school is all-encompassing. We’re not here to check off a box. We support our students spiritually, academically, mentally, and socially to give them the best education and experience possible.”
Outside of the classroom, Riley enjoys staying active through sports like soccer. Fun fact: He hasn’t had pop since he was seven years old!
