Wende Camp
Educational Support Services Teacher
Wende Camp has been a faithful presence as an Educational Support Services (ESS) teacher for 24 years. Before teaching ESS, she taught fourth grade for three years at Heritage and homeschooled her children for seven.
Wende studied Elementary Education at Taylor University, then completed her master’s in Remedial Reading at Butler University. Once she joined the ESS team, Wende also became a Heritage parent, sending her three children through Heritage. Her youngest, Stephen is a Heritage “lifer,” having attended all 13 years of school.
Wende enjoys being the catalyst that inspires her students to do their best and be all that God created them to be. She loves seeing her students take ownership of their learning.
Outside of work, Wende loves to flyfish, ride bikes, kayak, and do Sudoku puzzles.
