Middle School Language Arts Teacher
While working in a corporate editing job, Language Arts teacher Kim Everhart felt like she was not fulfilling the calling that God had on her life. She knew it was time for a career change and after months of prayerful consideration, she came to Heritage!
She started out ministering to the middle school girls as the soccer coach then moved to being a long-term substitute in the 7th grade Language Arts department in 2017. She says her favorite part of working as a teacher is the small, everyday surprises. “These kids just blow me away with their creativity, their sense of humor, and their vast knowledge.”
In their free time, Kim, her husband and her kids play on recreational soccer leagues—which keeps them pretty busy. She’s pictured here with her husband Jason and children Adriana (2nd grade), Charlie (prep-K), and Ella.
