Step 1: Discover Heritage
Your first step is to let us know of your interest in Heritage by completing the inquiry form or registering for an upcoming admissions event. Once you submit this form you will receive an email with an invitation to log into our Admissions Portal. In the Admissions Portal you will be able to access additional items and events that represent the admissions process. We encourage you to take advantage of all HCS has to offer by visiting our beautiful campus, scheduling a student shadow day, or attending an event!
Step 2: Apply for Admission
When you have determined that Heritage could be a good fit for your family, you are ready to apply. Our application consists of a checklist of required information and documentation, such as a teacher and a family reference, your student’s birth certificate, current grades, and test results. These items can be submitted in any order you choose in our Admissions Portal. Once all the required checklist items are complete and you have paid the non-refundable $65 application fee, your application will be submitted for review.
Note: We are no longer accepting applications for preschool for the 2019-20 school year. Our kindergarten is also full for 2019-20, but we encourage you to still apply as additional seats may become available. Please contact the admissions office if you have any questions.
Apply for Financial Assistance (Optional)
Visit the Financial Assistance page for information and to apply for financial assistance through FACTS, our third party aid assessment company. Applicants for the upcoming school year may apply for financial assistance after January 1. FACTS charges a $35 fee to process your request. Applications received after March 31st will be processed as seats and funds are available.
Step 3: Application Review & Admissions Decision
Each student's application is carefully considered by the administration. Admissions decisions consider the student’s potential for success at HCS and the parents' desire for a Christ-centered education for their children. After we have reviewed your completed application we will contact you to discuss next steps, which may include an interview and student assessment, a request for more information, or an admissions decision. Please allow up to several weeks for this step to be completed.
Step 4: Enrollment
Once you are accepted and notified that a seat is available, you may reserve your spot by paying your non-refundable enrollment fee online through the link provided by admissions at the time of acceptance. Enrollment fees are $250 for the first student in your family and $150 for each student thereafter. Once a grade level is full we may offer a wait list.
