Alumni News Updates

Heritage Christian School has graduated many talented, dedicated and successful professionals who have made significant contributions in their fields of study and within their communities. What started as three alumni in 1967 has grown today to more than 4,000 total alumni around the world. Our Alumni Association frequently highlights a former Heritage student on Facebook to celebrate their achievements since graduation. Matthew Pruitt ('18)

Matthew has recently accepted a position supervising the Aircraft Rescue Firefighting and Operations departments at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.

Ellie Cardozo ('21)

This January, Ellie will embark on an incredible journey as an Information Officer Intern with Samaritan’s Purse in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Emma Sego ('21)

We are so proud of Emma, who was recently awarded the Kafka-Phillips Memorial Scholarship at Clarkson University! 

Ben Milligan ('96)

Ben’s first book, By Water Beneath the Walls: The Rise of the Navy SEALs, was published in July 2021 and is now available in paperback. The book chronicles the evolution of the Navy SEALs

Julia Barnett ('88)

Julia has recently achieved a major milestone with the release of her first feature film as a writer and director, A Christmas in New Hope.

Raven Colvin ('21)

Raven was selected with the seventh overall pick in the Pro Volleyball Federation draft by the Grand Rapids Rise!

Allison Martin ('00)

We’re thrilled to share that Allison was recently featured in the Current magazine for her incredible work on her podcast, IN the Parks

Caleb Pallekonda ('21)

Caleb was recently featured on Good Morning America alongside Liberty University President, Dr. Dondi E. Costin, discussing their hurricane relief efforts.

Dave Neff

Dave has been selected for a leadership role in the 2026 NCAA Men’s Final Four! 

Raven Colvin ('21) & Myles Colvin ('23)

These former Heritage athletic stars are now making waves at Purdue University—Myles on the basketball court and Raven on the volleyball court. They've also written several children's books!

Maya Favors

Maya was recently appointed as the Junior-Class Representative on the Hope College Alumni Association Board of Directors.

Joey Butz

Joey is now making waves in the MLB Draft League with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers. His story is a testament to hard work, perseverance, and the lifelong relationships built through the game he loves.

Ganson Salmon ('11)

Ganson will be one of the featured performers at the Indianapolis Opera’s Opera in the Park on September 7th at Garfield Park.

Courtney Lee ('21)

Courtney recently went on a trip to Zambia with the Hope Athletics SEED program to serve the community and worship the Lord.

Allie Dine ('24)

Allie is among just 22 students awarded the prestigious President's Scholar award at Indiana State University for the 2024-2025 academic year. She also received a full-tuition four-year scholarship earlier this year!

Aidan Craig ('20)

Since March, Aidan has been named WHAC Offensive Player of the Week, Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Year, 1st Team All-Conference, and Taylor Male Athlete of the Year!

SarahGrace Mariani ('12)

SarahGrace was part of the ensemble cast in the role of Marcia for a show on Broadway in the spring of 2024 called The Outsiders, and the show just won a Tony Award for Best Musical!

Noelle Hooper ('22)

Noelle has not only clinched College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Honors but has also secured her spot on the prestigious Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference 2023 Fall Academic Team.

Summer Park ('23)

For the past six months, Summer has been living with a community of young adults from different parts of the US who came to Costa Rica to study the Bible, learn Spanish, and experience a different culture.
