We are so proud of HCS alum, Caleb Pallekonda (Class of 2021), a senior at Liberty University, who was recently featured on Good Morning America alongside Liberty University President, Dr. Dondi E. Costin, discussing their hurricane relief efforts

Liberty University is sending disaster relief teams to areas impacted by recent hurricanes in North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida, and Caleb will be part of the team heading to Florida. This isn’t Caleb’s first relief mission trip—he has a heart for serving those in need.

During the interview, Caleb shared how his passion for serving others started with his parents, saying, "I saw that firsthand in the way that they served our community and our church, and I’m really grateful for the ability and the privilege to be at Liberty University where I can be equipped to go and carry out that servant-heartedness."

When asked why he chooses to step into this challenging work, Caleb responded simply, "Why can’t it be me? There are people that are hurting and I’m willing and able, and all it takes is me saying yes."
