Heritage CEO, Jeff Freeman, shares a message about appreciation and peace at the end of our second week of distance learning.
Our campus is closed. Our learning continues.
Heritage is aligning with state-directed social distancing measures to help slow the spread of coronavirus. Heritage has closed its campus and is doing distance learning through May 1. We have also canceled all extracurricular activities through May 1. We are leveraging our existing learning management systems, Canvas and Veracross, to effectively bridge the disruption in traditional classroom teaching.
Dear Heritage Family, I want to update you on the needs within our community. Our Heritage Cares program opened up the opportunity for Heritage families to share their needs with honest details and emotion. The heartfelt struggles and challenges being shared are profound.
In the past few weeks, people all around the world have become familiar with coronavirus (COVID-19) and it has reshaped our routines and daily lives. And just when we think we have learned all there is to know about COVID-19, a new day comes, and we find out something else that impacts us in even greater ways.
Wrapping up our first week of Heritage distance learning with a message from CEO Jeff Freeman. Thank you Heritage! We pray you have a great weekend.
