2022-23 Spiritual Theme: Together

The annual spiritual theme is a springboard for classroom conversation, our athletics teams, and clubs. From our preschool students to high school seniors, the theme unites our students around a common idea that’s grounded in spiritual truth.

Together

May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

- Romans 15:5-6 -

Each year, the discipleship staff, students, and the leadership team work together to select the theme for the upcoming school year. For the 2022-23 school year, the spiritual theme is Together.

In Romans 15, the Apostle Paul writes about living a life that is reflective of Christ’s example. He (Christ) did not come to please himself. He did quite the opposite and gave his life as an atoning sacrifice for us. Our response: Live in harmony and glorify God with one voice - Together.

There are many things that Satan will use to divide us, cause discord among us, and stop us from being on mission with Jesus to make disciples of all nations. With our eyes focused on Jesus and the work he did for us on the cross we can, Together with one heart and one voice, glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As we begin a new school year at Heritage Christian School, it is our prayer that our Heritage community is unified in our mission: Glorify God. Make Disciples. Pursue Excellence.
