HCS Mock Trial Team Finishes 16th at National Championship

Heritage's state champion mock trial team (Discord) finished 16th in their first NATIONAL championship! They drew a tough schedule and earned an impressive 1118 total points in 4 trials. Out of the 46 teams competing, only 3 teams had higher total scores: 2 teams with 1121 and another with 1127.
The team is very thankful for the support they received in many forms:
- a school watch party
- HCS parents securing conference rooms at Barnes & Thornburg
- daily lunches provided by a federal court judge, Barnes & Thornburg, the Indiana Bar Foundation, and generous team parents
- their hard-working, generous, and truly excellent volunteer coaches: Ashley Thompson and Peg Huffman
