Participating were Driver Grant Timms, Crew Chief Matt Holloway, Mechanics Jack Stewart and Curtis Kreklau, Team Photographer Keiko Kreklau, and back-up driver and apprentice mechanic Caleb Carrao. Driver Drew Lindley joined the team in the afternoon after competing in the Cross Country sectionals Saturday morning. Heritage Alumnus Ellis Davis was also present as a mentor and consultant.

The team won the fastest lap of the day and set a track record when Grant took the pole position for the main race in the afternoon. Grant led six of the nine laps in the race, and even though another kart forced Grant off the track in the seventh lap, Grant was still able to battle his way back up to second place!

Congratulations to all the karting team members! Thanks also to Heritage dad Todd Lindley for transporting the kart to the track and allowing the team the use of his trailer.
