Beautifying Our Entranceway

News About A Heritage Landscape Project Taking Place During Spring Break
As many of you know, this year’s Heritage Fund included a landscape and campus beautification component. Praise God that this year’s Heritage Fund has already exceeded our goal of $980,000 and that we will be able to accomplish all of our objectives and targeted Heritage Fund projects, including an investment of approximately $30,000 in new landscaping.
When the landscape component was first included in this year’s Heritage Fund, we knew that this investment could only accomplish a few limited upgrades. A few months ago, however, we were blessed by a partner family and their foundation who were committed to supporting us to do even more to enhance our campus. Their additional $70,000 investment along with our Heritage Fund resources is allowing us to execute a larger campus landscape project.
Focused on the entranceway off of 75th street and the entrance areas into campus, we will be doing a $100,000 landscaping project over Spring break (April 3-12).

Anchored by a new tree alley, our entrance enhancements will create a fresh, green and inviting first impression for families and students. Cohesive planting schemes and materials will unify the area and provide functional and maintenance-friendly solutions. A new pathway and seating area near our softball and tennis facilities will also be created. Some of the trees and plants will need to grow for a season or two to give us our full preferred look, but we are excited by this important campus enhancement. [View Front Phase Plan]
Our 38-acre campus has many other areas that can also be upgraded and we look forward to exploring future phases of additional campus beautification.
