HCS Mock Trial Team Wins State Championship

Let the record reflect...Heritage Christian School's Team Discord won the Indiana High School Mock Trial Championship!

Discord's team members include Maya Favors, Mychael Favors, Sylvie Earlewine, Angelina Legostaeva, Nkenna Nzerem, and two homeschool students, Zach Barnes and Haley Bock.

The team will compete in the virtual 2022 National High School Mock Trial Championship May 4-7.

Two other HCS teams competed in the state finals. The junior team, Back Breakers, decisively won two trials before falling just short against the team that ended up in the championship against Discord. The freshman team, Totally VIbin', faced off against another of the final four teams.

Maya Favors received a Top 10 Best Attorney award and both Mychael Favors and Emily Nutter received Top 10 Best Witness awards.
