Mrs. Stroop Delivers Class Books to Students at Home

Mrs. Stroop Delivers Class Books to Students at Home

Posted on June 9, 2020

Today we are highlighting long-time teacher, Mrs. Stroop. Many in the HCS community have experienced her kind and gentle spirit and love of the Lord.

Mrs. Stroop recently went above and beyond for her students, as she so often does, hand-delivering each one a book they had published.

For the last five years, first grade students have experienced writing a class book and having it published. This year Mrs. Stroop’s class book was titled, Sprinkles of Kindness.

Each student wrote a page about a way he/she showed kindness to someone and colored a picture to go along with the story. Students found a Bible verse to go with their stories and wrote the verse in their book, too!

Since Mrs. Stroop couldn’t hold a big book reveal party for her students this year, she decided to deliver the books to her students at their homes while respecting social distancing!

The joy and excitement on the faces of these little ones make us smile, and we are sure it will bring a smile to your face as well!

We are so appreciative of the care and love that our teachers, like Mrs. Stroop, show to our students and families even when we can't be together on campus!
