Becky Rogers

2nd Grade Teacher

Meet 2nd grade teacher Becky Rogers. Becky attended The King's College in New York and graduated with a degree in Business with an accounting minor. After rekindling a childhood love of teaching through homeschooling her own children, she completed Indiana Wesleyan’s transition to teaching program and joined the Heritage family.

While working with HCS 3rd graders in her student teaching and 2nd graders in her first year of work, Becky says she “loves that ‘Aha!’ moment over something [a student] has been working on.” More importantly though, she works to encourage her students with how much God loves them and how beautifully He made them. 

Although this was her first year teaching children that were not her own, Becky says that they quickly became like her children and we are glad to have her as a part of the HCS elementary team to instruct and encourage some of our youngest students!
