Diann Boone

6th Grade Language Arts Teacher

Diann Boone teaches 6th grade Language Arts in the intermediate school. She studied Elementary Education at Trinity International University in Deerfield, IL, just north of Chicago, and has spent her entire career in the classroom.

Throughout her teaching career, Diann has taught in several kinds of schools, in several states, and in several grade levels. She’s been teaching at Heritage for the last nine years.

Diann first heard about Heritage when she was pregnant with her first daughter. Fast forward to today, and Diann’s three daughters, Natalie, Lindsay, and Sally, are all Heritage graduates.

Diann most loves witnessing growth in her students, whether that be when they begin to grasp a deep spiritual truth or when an idea or concept in literature finally clicks with them.

“It’s exciting watching students grow, improve, feel inspired, and motivated,” she said. “All of this brings me great joy.”
