Music
Heritage's robust music offerings include choir, orchestra, concert band, jazz band and chapel band. Students perform for the community, lead worship during chapel services and compete at the local and state level. Heritage music programs have won numerous state awards as a member of the Indiana School State Music Association (ISSMA) and national recognition through the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation.

Comprehensive Music Education
All students receive music instruction from kindergarten through 4th grade. In 5th and 6th grade, students choose to participate in band, choir, or orchestra, laying the foundation for future musical growth.

Superior Performance Ratings
Approximately 95% of our students who participate in ISSMA Solo & Ensemble Contests at the district and state levels receive superior (gold) ratings each year.

College & Professional Partnerships
Our students benefit from sectionals, workshops, and clinics led by college faculty and professional musicians from institutions such as Anderson, Taylor, Butler, Wheaton, Indiana Wesleyan, University of Indianapolis, and Cedarville.

College Readiness
Our graduates continue their musical journeys by playing and singing in college ensembles.

Statewide Recognition
Many of our students have been selected for All-State Choir, Orchestra, Band, and Jazz Band, showcasing their exceptional talent.

Church & Community Involvement
Students are equipped to serve as musicians in their church orchestras, special ensembles, and worship bands, using their talents to glorify God.
