Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF)

PTF exists to foster a strong partnership between parents, teachers, and staff by organizing events, supporting faculty, and enhancing the school experience.

PTF Structure

The PTF is organized into an Executive Board and various Chairs/Co-Chairs who oversee specific areas and initiatives.

Executive Board:
President, President-Elect, Treasurer, Recording Secretary

Chairs & Committees:
Each chair may form a committee to help carry out responsibilities, making it easy for parents to get involved in specific areas of interest.

Family Fellowship & Events – Organizes school-wide family events
Family Outreach – Welcomes and supports school families
Faculty & Staff Events – Plans teacher appreciation activities
Faculty & Staff Encouragement – Provides gifts, meals, and bereavement support for staff
Communications – Keeps families informed about PTF events and opportunities
Fundraising – Leads efforts to financially support PTF initiatives

Join a Committee

Help plan and execute events and initiatives by working directly with a chair. Email ptf@heritagechristian.net or fill out our interest form to express your interest and we'll connect you with the right committee!

Volunteer for Events

Sign up for event-specific opportunities through our monthly newsletter. All current HCS families automatically receive these emails (no sign-up needed!) Just check your inbox.

Stay Connected

Parent Gatherings

All HCS parents are invited to join us for a morning of coffee and connection at our quarterly PTF Coffee Fellowship gatherings! This is a great opportunity to enjoy light refreshments, build relationships, learn about opportunities to get involved, and hear from a member of our Heritage community. Keep an eye on your weekly eBulletin emails for upcoming dates and event details.

The Heritage Dads' Club (HDC) is a monthly dads-only morning event designed to engage, equip, and strengthen the influence of fathers within our school and in their homes.

The format alternates each month: gatherings with a speaker will feature a full breakfast along with practical instruction and encouragement. On the in-between months, dads will enjoy donuts and coffee, a short devotional, and meaningful time in small group fellowship and prayer. All meetings provide an opportunity to connect with other dads and seek God's guidance for our families and school. Attendees also receive helpful resources to support growth beyond the monthly meetings.

Our Parents in Prayer group believes in the profound power of prayer to support families, nurture children, and foster positive change within our HCS community. We meet regularly to pray for the well-being, academic success, and spiritual growth of our children, creating a caring and supportive environment for their development. We also lift up our staff, teachers, and the entire school community, asking for guidance and strength as we work together to shape our children’s future.

We invite you to join us in this important work and be a part of our prayerful community! Parents in Prayer meets on Monday mornings at 8:10 AM (after drop off) in the elementary cafeteria.

Each year, PTF hosts a special evening of fun and fellowship at the Family Fun Zone on Homecoming night. Alumni and current families gather to enjoy a variety of free activities and entertainment on the field behind the Learning Center building. This annual event is a highlight for the Heritage community, celebrating Homecoming with vibrant activities and shared excitement.

Middle School Night with the Pacers

Mother/Son Night of Fun

The Mother-Son Night of Fun is a special evening filled with fun, laughter, and memory-making! Moms and their sons (kindergarten through 6th grade) enjoy a night of bowling, laser tag, delicious food, and quality time together. This event is a great opportunity for moms and sons to bond while engaging in friendly competition and exciting activities.

Pottery Painting Family Event

Our friends from uPaint Pottery Studio travel to our school each year for a fun and creative family event to paint pottery! After painting, the pottery is be kiln fired and returned to the students at school. All students and family members are welcome at this event to enjoy an afternoon spending time together and painting! Light refreshments and drinks are provided.

Prayer Walk Throughout Campus

Each year, our Heritage community comes together in faith for a special Prayer Walk across the campus. Families, staff, and students gather at the Fine Arts entrance, then split into groups to cover every corner of the school in heartfelt prayer. Sponsored by Parents in Prayer, this event beautifully demonstrates our collective devotion to seeking God’s guidance and blessings for the upcoming school year.

During the walk, we lift up prayers for our students, teachers, staff, and the entire Heritage community, embracing the powerful presence of God’s faithfulness. This meaningful tradition allows us to prepare for the year ahead, united in prayer and strengthened by God’s transformative power.

Roller Skate Party

The annual Roll N' Glow event for students in kindergarten - 6th grade is a glow-in-the-dark roller skate party held at The Roller Cave! It's an evening filled with laughter, music, and glow-in-the-dark excitement. Skaters of all levels, from beginners to seasoned pros, enjoy gliding across the floor with smiles on their faces. The lively atmosphere is further enhanced by enthusiastic parents who join in on the fun or cheer from the sidelines.

Stock the Fridge

Each month, the PTF Faculty & Staff Events Committee stocks all six staff lounges, the security team, nurses' stations, and the Learning Center with a variety of drinks, snacks, and sweet treats to encourage and bless our teachers and staff. From cold brew coffees and energy drinks to sparkling water and candy, this small gesture brings joy and appreciation to those who serve our school daily.

Worthy Servants Brunch/Luncheon

The Worthy Servants Brunch/Luncheon is an annual event celebrating the dedication and hard work of our faculty and staff. This heartwarming occasion is organized by PTF who come together to serve a beautiful meal, showing gratitude for the unwavering commitment of our Heritage family throughout the year. The luncheon fosters joy, laughter, and a sense of togetherness, bringing everyone together before the well-deserved Christmas break. This cherished tradition highlights the appreciation we have for our Worthy Servants, who make Heritage a wonderful place to learn and grow.
