From the Guidance Office

We know that many of you have concerns about how to make a college education more affordable. Through a new program called RaiseMe, students can guarantee scholarships from 250+ colleges as early as 9th grade, making it easier to plan financially for school. Heritage is among the first in the country to take advantage of this opportunity, which was launched with the support of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and US colleges. Ensure that your student creates an account at www.raise.me. Encourage your student to regularly add good grades, community service, extracurricular activities, and other achievements to his or her RaiseMe Portfolio to earn micro-scholarships from colleges. Visit www.raise.me/parents for more information. You can also watch a sign-up tutorial on YouTube.

High School Student Handbook

The High School Student Handbook is divided into four specific sections that correspond with our basic mission. The first section, Glorify God, discusses the foundational pieces of our school, its philosophical/theological perspective and vision which drives the “who we are.” The second, Pursue Excellence, communicates our academic guidelines, policies and procedures. The third, Disciple Students, articulates our student code of conduct, discipline structures and procedures. The final section details necessary Operating Policies and Procedures - information to assist your understanding all the other school items. Please read through this handbook prior to the start of the school year.
