Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF)

PTF Group Photo

PTF is an organization of volunteers dedicated to encouraging Heritage faculty, staff and families.

From new family activities in the fall to the annual Jog-a-Thon fundraiser in the spring, Heritage’s Parent Teacher Fellowship orchestrates events that bring Heritage families and faculty together throughout the school year.

PTF is a great way for any parent to become more connected with the Heritage community.

PTF is a great place to meet other parents, hear what is happening with the school and meet teachers and principals in grades that my kids haven’t reached yet. It’s also very helpful to hear where the school is headed and what support they need. Meeting other parents is especially helpful. It is great to have my own friends on campus and to know the parents of my children’s friends.

- Brittny Hilbish (PTF Volunteer)

PTF welcomes everyone and we’d love to talk with you. Please contact us at ptf@heritagechristian.net. We also encourage you to attend our regularly scheduled PTF Breakfast Clubs (dates listed below) to learn more about PTF and how to get involved.

Seasonal Events

PTF has events planned for all ages this year. Visit the PTF Calendar for an overview of this year's schedule.

New Family Picnic

This is a great event where all the new families get a chance to hear from the principals, teachers and administration, visit their classroom, have dinner and participate in family fun events.

Dads' Lunch

Heritage Dads are invited to come have lunch with their Heritage students in Kindergarten through 6th grade.

Worthy Servants Brunch

PTF hosts a beautiful brunch for our faculty and staff at an off-campus location. Parents and students volunteer to serve at this event as a way to honor staff and faculty.

Daddy Daughter Ball

All girls in grades Kindergarten - 6th grade are invited to share this special night with their fathers (or grandfathers, uncles or any other special people in their lives).

K-6 Roller Skate Party

K- 6th graders enjoy an evening with their friends. This night provides a great opportunity to mingle with other Heritage families and enjoy family time together. Volunteers are needed to help plan this event.

Jog-A-Thon

PTF’s only fundraiser is held each year in the spring. Students and faculty jog around the HCS track in order to raise funds so PTF is able to host events and contribute to special projects. Each grade level will be assigned a time to jog. Feel free to watch or jog with your child. Volunteers are needed for planning and administrative tasks.

Faculty/Staff Spring Luncheon

PTF honors our faculty and staff with an end of the year luncheon. Volunteers are needed to help plan and serving at this event.

C2O - Christ to Others

An outreach event held every 2-3 years, C2O is a day to celebrate bringing Christ to others through fellowship and music. We will host a large Christian band(s) for the evening entertainment and host a carnival in the afternoon for the entire HCS community and guest families. We reach out to our church families and local community as we share the love of Christ by opening up our campus for a day of fun!
