Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF)

PTF aspires to create a year filled with blessings, joy, and shared experiences for staff, families, and students. We strive to bless the faculty and staff at Heritage Christian for their endless dedication to our students and families. We sponsor and plan many cherished events throughout the year for our families as a way to build the Heritage community. We also have many volunteer opportunities for parents to get involved and serve our wonderful faculty and staff. Together we can ensure vibrant events, community blessings, and create unforgettable memories for all!

The Scriptures are replete with references to the power of Dad! I love being a dad and have a heart for pouring into dads and helping equip them to be the leaders of their families that God intended. We are beginning the Heritage Dads’ Club to engage all school dads and invest in them and their influence in the home.

Various aspects of the ministry will include breakfast and fellowship together, a time of instruction, as well as a small group prayer time for each other and the needs of the school. Resource information to assist dads will be shared for further growth beyond our monthly meetings. Please note that this is a dads-only event.

We want as many dads as possible to join the Heritage Dads' Club! Please spread the word and invite other Heritage dads and register today.

We want Heritage Christian School to be known as a place of prayer. By fostering a culture of prayer, we have the opportunity to partner with God in the work he’s doing at HCS and in our community.

We are asking God for 100 prayer warriors to pray for HCS every day. There are no qualifications or prerequisites to be a prayer warrior — just a posture of expectancy for God’s presence and revival at HCS. Each week, Dr. Dougherty will share a prayer list and ask you to pray over it throughout the week, from wherever you are.

Homecoming PTF Fun Zone

Each year, PTF hosts a special evening of fun and fellowship at the Family Fun Zone on Homecoming night. Alumni and current families gather to enjoy a variety of free activities and entertainment on the field behind the Learning Center building. This annual event is a highlight for the Heritage community, celebrating Homecoming with vibrant activities and shared excitement.

Pottery Painting Family Event

Our friends from uPaint Pottery Studio travel to our school each year for a fun and creative family event to paint pottery! After painting, the pottery is be kiln fired and returned to the students at school. All students and family members are welcome at this event to enjoy an afternoon spending time together and painting! Light refreshments and drinks are provided.

Prayer Walk Throughout Campus

Each year, our Heritage community comes together in faith for a special Prayer Walk across the campus. Families, staff, and students gather at the Fine Arts entrance, then split into groups to cover every corner of the school in heartfelt prayer. Sponsored by Parents in Prayer, this event beautifully demonstrates our collective devotion to seeking God’s guidance and blessings for the upcoming school year.

During the walk, we lift up prayers for our students, teachers, staff, and the entire Heritage community, embracing the powerful presence of God’s faithfulness. This meaningful tradition allows us to prepare for the year ahead, united in prayer and strengthened by God’s transformative power.

Roller Skate Party

The annual Roll N' Glow event for students in kindergarten - 6th grade is a glow-in-the-dark roller skate party held at The Roller Cave! It's an evening filled with laughter, music, and glow-in-the-dark excitement. Skaters of all levels, from beginners to seasoned pros, enjoy gliding across the floor with smiles on their faces. The lively atmosphere is further enhanced by enthusiastic parents who join in on the fun or cheer from the sidelines.

Worthy Servants Brunch/Luncheon

The Worthy Servants Brunch/Luncheon is an annual event celebrating the dedication and hard work of our faculty and staff. This heartwarming occasion is organized by PTF who come together to serve a beautiful meal, showing gratitude for the unwavering commitment of our Heritage family throughout the year. The luncheon fosters joy, laughter, and a sense of togetherness, bringing everyone together before the well-deserved Christmas break. This cherished tradition highlights the appreciation we have for our Worthy Servants, who make Heritage a wonderful place to learn and grow.
