Early Childhood Program

Lorem Ipsum Dolor

Preschool, Prep-K, Kindergarten

Some of the most critical learning on the Heritage campus takes place in our brightly colored early childhood classrooms. Within these spaces, children are welcomed into a warm, Christ-centered environment where our teachers help them grow through play, creativity, exploration, and meaningful relationships during one of the most formative seasons of their development.

Our Early Childhood Program, rooted in biblical values, serves students in Indianapolis, IN for preschool, prep-k, and kindergarten. We nurture each child’s heart, mind, and love for God while building the foundational skills that support spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and academic growth.

Our Approach to Early Learning

Children learn best through a balance of play, exploration, movement, and guided instruction. At Heritage, classrooms are thoughtfully designed to encourage curiosity, build confidence, and establish routines that help children feel safe and supported.

Our Early Childhood Program emphasizes:

  • Christ-centered learning grounded in God’s Word
  • Developmentally appropriate instruction
  • Active, hands-on experiences
  • A whole-child focus that nurtures spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and academic growth
  • Consistent daily routines help children feel safe, supported, and confident as they learn and grow.
  • Strong relationships between students, teachers, and families

Discipleship in Early Childhood

Through Bible lessons, prayer, worship, and daily interactions, children are introduced to God’s truth in meaningful, age-appropriate ways.

Teachers model Christlike character and guide students as they grow in love for God and others, building a strong biblical foundation that continues through elementary school.

Parent Community & Involvement

The early years are a formative season for both children and families. At Heritage, parents are welcomed into a supportive, faith-filled community that values connection, encouragement, and partnership.

Opportunities to connect range from classroom volunteering and parent-teacher conferences to family-friendly gatherings designed to foster connection among parents of young children. Through our Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF), families are invited to build relationships, grow spiritually, support teachers and staff, and participate in meaningful moments throughout the school year.

We know that a strong parent community plays an important role in supporting students, teachers, and one another as children grow and learn at Heritage. Throughout the year, parents are invited to engage in ways that fit their season of life, helping strengthen the connection between home and school.
