Kindergarten
Kindergarten marks an important transition as students apply foundational skills, develop academically, stimulate interests, and grow in independence. The Heritage Kindergarten program builds on Early Childhood foundations while preparing students for the expectations of elementary school in a Christ-centered environment.
Kindergarten at Heritage Christian School in Indianapolis serves children who turn 5 years old by June 1 and is part of our Early Childhood Program, which also includes Preschool and Prep-K.

Kindergarten Program Options

Families may choose the schedule that best fits their needs.
5-Day Program
- Half Day | 8 AM – 12 PM
- Full Day | 8 AM – 2:10 PM
Classes are intentionally structured to provide consistency, meaningful routines, and age-appropriate learning experiences.
A Day at Heritage Kindergarten
Kindergarten students follow structured daily routines that balance focused instruction, collaboration, movement, and creativity. Students participate in Bible instruction, core academics, specials, lunch, and outdoor play while building responsibility and confidence.
