This past Wednesday, we had our first ever “Firemanary” come share with us! Adam Smith, who is a full time fireman for Pike township, made quite an impression on the kids…especially as he was all dressed up in his gear.
In club this past Wednesday, Mrs. Lawton showed a quick presentation of pictures from our time at Midwest Food Bank and had the kids who participated share a little about what we did and what they thought about it.
We had our first “Dancinaries” (Hope Englin and Ellie Malmquist) come and share with us how they use their gift and love of dance to worship and share Jesus with others. Ellie performed part of a dance for us and it was beautiful to see how dance can be used to express our love for Jesus!
This past Wednesday, our Mission Minded Kids watched a short film titled, “Beyond the Sky.” This movie is a presentation of the Gospel of Jesus shown through a contemporary story. Mrs. Lawton was able to tie this story into a chapel message from the day before.
This week we had a very special guest: Pastor Ed Skowron. Pastor Ed was a missionary for 35 years with New Tribes Missions and he spent 10 of those years in Panama planting tribal churches.
