At Heritage Christian, summer equals fun — for girls and boys, for scientists and athletes, for actors and artists, for engineers and myth busters, for astronauts and programmers! Our summer camps offer a unique environment where students can pursue their dreams ... and we have something for everyone!

Our camps are open to the entire Indianapolis community.

Spy Week (June 4-8)

Kindergarten - 5th Grade

Campers will receive different missions throughout the week. To complete their missions they will have to discover secret codes in hidden messages, go through obstacles to reach their destination, and learn how to distract people around them to escape. Learn how to make invisible ink, create disguises, fingerprinting are just a few activities campers will master.

Strength & Conditioning Camp
(June 4-7 or June 11-14)

1st - 8th Grade
8:00 - 10:00 AM  
or  10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

A camp instructed by our St. Vincent Strength and Conditioning coach for boys and girls who are interested in improving their athletic performance through gains in strength, power, mobility, and movement. The camp will include instruction in Dynamic Warmup, Speed/Agility/Conditioning, Power Training (For the older campers), Intro to Strength Movements, Mobility/Flexibility, Cool Down Activation.

Boys Soccer Camp (June 4-7)

1st - 8th Grade
8:00 - 10:00 AM


Heritage Christian Boys Soccer Camp is for any boy entering 1st-8th grade. Our Camp is designed to help your player improve in a fun and informative atmosphere. From fun introductory sessions for the youngest players, to technical and tactical sessions for more advanced players, all players are grouped by age and ability to ensure the optimal balance of fun, challenge and skill development. All camp sessions focus on individual ball skills as well as fun games to put those skills to practice and develop teamwork. Camp instructions and demonstrations will be done by current Eagles players and coaches.

Girls Soccer Camp (June 4-7)

1st - 8th Grade
8:00 - 10:00 AM


Heritage Girls Soccer Camp is for any girls entering 1st-8th grade. Camp is designed for players of all levels who want to learn and improve their fundamental soccer skills in a fun and encouraging environment. Players are given the unique opportunity to receive instruction from Heritage Soccer's coaching staff and players. Each day is filled with a variety of activities to promote correct soccer technique including: small-sided games to encourage personal involvement and enhance the understanding of team concepts; technical and ball mastery skills sessions; shooting drills; and more.

Boys Basketball Camp (June 4-7)

1st - 8th Grade
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM


Boys basketball camp is for any boy entering 1st-8th grade. The camp is a fun filled camp that is a great way to start off your summer. This camp will provide instruction in fundamentals such as passing, dribbling, shooting, rebounding, and defensive techniques. At camp you will train under the direction of the Heritage Basketball coaching staff and current basketball players. Come join the fun and strive improve your basketball skills.

Tennis Camp (June 4-7)

1st - 8th Grade
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM


Heritage Christian tennis camps is for any boy or girl entering 1st-8th grade. Camp provides an exciting and challenging environment for all ages and levels of participants. The program incorporates an effective balance between stroke fundamentals, drills, competitive strategies, fun and games, and team spirit. Campers will be grouped according to age and ability with a low student-to-coach ratio. Heritage coaches and current players will lead the instruction with the hopes of campers acquiring a passion and appreciation for the sport while developing the skills to last a lifetime.

Beginners VEX Robotics Camp (June 11-15)

For students entering 4th-6th grade who have never participated on a VEX Robotics Team.

This camp will introduce students to the VEX Robotics program and the new season's competition game. Students will learn the rules and process of the VEX robotics program. They will learn about basic gear trains & other mechanisms as well as Modkit programming to help their team design, build, program and drive a robot to compete in our mini VEX robotics tournament at the end of camp on Friday.

Art Extravaganza (June 11-15)

Kindergarten - 5th Grade

Campers will use different materials to create works of art. Campers will also be learning about different artists and the styles that they use and create their own works of art based on those styles. This camp is sure to spark camper’s interests and imaginations.

Football Camp (June 11-14)

1st - 8th Grade
8:00 - 10:00 AM


Welcome to the Eagle Football Experience! This camp is for any boy entering 1st-8th grade. The camp is designed for kids of all athletic abilities; from the experienced athlete to the child who is curious and always wanted to learn the game of football. You will be taught by variety of Heritage coaches and current players in a highly energetic and encouraging atmosphere. A wide variety of skills and techniques will be taught, such as how to properly block, receive, pass, play defense and most importantly, learn how to unite as a team. In these teams, the athletes will learn through participation of running routes, agility drills, and game scenarios.

Volleyball Camp (June 11-14)

The Heritage Christian volleyball coaches and players are excited to work with any girl entering 1st-8th grade. The camp will focus on individual development of fundamental skills including passing, setting, hitting, and serving. This program is designed for the beginning and intermediate player. The goal of the Eagle volleyball camp is to create an environment of learning, as well as a space where players can ask questions and ultimately get better.

Whether you are a young beginner just learning the game or player ready to take your game up a notch, Heritage Christian baseball camp is for is for any boy entering 1st-8th grade. Coach Ambrose and current Eagle players are present for all camps and take great pride in the quality of instruction. Camp is high energy with great attention to detail and safety. This is a baseball opportunity that we feel confident will exceed your expectations.

Girls Basketball Camp (June 11-14)

1st - 8th Grade

Heritage Christian girls’ basketball camp is for any girls entering 1st-8th grade. Camp will focus on individual development of fundamental skills including correct shooting form, ball-handling, passing, defensive principles, as well as offensive & defensive concepts. Each camper will learn drills from Heritage coaches and players that they can use at home to develop their individual skill. There will also be opportunities to play fun competitive games. Competitions will be divided into skill set, as to create an equal playing field for all. The goal of the Eagles girls’ basketball camp is to create an environment of learning. Our hope is at the end of the week the campers will have learned several new drills to take home with them, as well as a better understanding of the game as a whole.

Amazing Race (June 18-22)

Kindergarten - 5th Grade

Teams will learn how to work together, discover different cultures along the Amazing Race route. Teams must work together to find route markers, complete challenges, agree and accomplish detours and overcome roadblocks. Each day will also have biblical lessons with fun worship.

Summer Art Academy (June 18-22)

For students entering 6th - 8th Grade

Students will have the opportunity to explore and work with a variety of art mediums. They will learn various techniques, different artists, and create multiple projects. Each day will focus on a different medium: drawing and painting, printmaking, ceramics, mixed multi-media, and collaborative sculptural form.

Space Exploration (June 25-29)

Kindergarten - 5th Grade

Student crew members explore microgravity and the unique challenges astronauts must overcome to carry out their duties in Earth’s orbit. The crew members will also learn about the force needed to get a rocket up and into space.

SpringHill (July 9-13)

Kindergarten - 5th Grade

SpringHill provides and runs the complete camp experience including fun activities, Bible-based curriculum, and highly-trained camp counselors. The week kicks off with Parent Orientation on Monday so you enter the week knowing exactly what to expect. Closing Day on Friday is when you come to see your kids receive individual recognition for their progress at camp. Before and after care are available if you need to drop your child off early or pick them up late.

Summer Theater Academy - Acting Through The Ages (July 9-13)

For students entering 6th - 8th Grade

Students will learn about and perform theater from Ancient Greece to Modern Musicals and everywhere in between culminating in a 20-minute performance of selected scenes at the end of the week.

Camp Invention (July 16-20)

Kindergarten - 6th Grade

Let’s invent the future today! Fast Forward to Camp Invention’s new 2018 program where campers will explore with fun, hands-on activities that encourage creative problem solving, teamwork, entrepreneurship and curiosity. At the end of the program, each camper will bring home two personalized robots!

Introduction to Algebra 2 (July 16-20)

For students entering 9th - 12th Grades

Algebra 2 is a high school class that can be challenging for many students. The “Introduction to Algebra 2” class is intended to provide a brief introduction to some of the new concepts that students will learn during the regular school year. It should also help students refresh their mathematical skills midway through the summer. Mr. Madsen will be teaching this class, and will strive to make it interactive and engaging. We will meet from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for one week, from July 16 through July 20. The cost is $80 for the week. The camp is open to any HCS and Non-HCS students. This class will not earn any high school credit.

Game Creations (July 23-27)

Kindergarten - 5th Grade

Kindergarten - 2nd grade campers will create their own life size board game using cardboard boxes, construction paper, and other miscellaneous items. Using their creative minds, campers will brainstorm and create their own game and how to play it.

3rd - 5th grade campers will learn the in’s and out’s of how to create their own computer game by learning how to code.

Advanced VEX Robotics Camp (July 30 - August 3)

For students entering 5th-8th grade who have participated on a VEX Robotics team or have completed our Beginners VEX Robotics Camp and plan to participate on a robotics team in the fall.

This camp will introduce robotics team members to the new season's competition game. Students will get to work with a partner to design, build and test their first prototypes for scoring points in the new game. Students will receive instruction on building drive trains with strafe wheels, four bars & other lifting mechanisms as well as more advanced Modkit programming techniques. Mr. Paul Meyers, HCS's Robotics Program's technical advisor mentor will visit at camp each day to discuss the students' design ideas. Students will work with a team to design, build, program and drive their robot in our mini VEX robotics tournament at the end of camp on Friday.
