Caroline Wozniak - 6th Grade Teacher

Caroline Wozniak

6th Grade Language Arts Teacher

Caroline Wozniak serves as a sixth grade language arts teacher at Heritage, a role she reached after a journey filled with prayer and patience. Growing up in the public school system, she felt a calling to teach during her junior year of high school and initially envisioned a career in public education. However, early on, she realized two things: she was passionate about teaching sixth grade language arts, and she felt led to transition to a private Christian school. "After a few years of waiting and praying, God led me to Heritage!"

Caroline earned her degree in Elementary Education with a Concentration in Language Arts from Taylor University. Her connection to Taylor runs deep, as she comes from a "Taylor family," with her parents, husband, and younger brother all attending the university.

In her classroom, Caroline says, "I strive to create an environment where students feel comfortable to learn, make mistakes, and grow in Christ with one another." This focus on spiritual and academic growth is central to her teaching philosophy. Having previously taught in public schools, Caroline finds immense joy in the ability to integrate her faith into her daily teaching. "Since I have only taught in public schools in the past, getting to incorporate my faith has been such a blessing. Opening class in prayer and speaking openly about my relationship with Jesus has become second nature."

Outside of her role at Heritage, Caroline enjoys singing, playing the viola and ukulele, spending time outdoors, and thrift shopping.
