Faith Taylor - Freshman English Teacher

Faith Taylor

Freshman English Teacher

Faith Taylor

Faith Taylor is a freshman English teacher at HCS! With a background that blends a deep commitment to faith and a passion for education, Faith brings a unique perspective to her role.

From a young age, Faith felt a calling to serve others. Influenced by dedicated educators and mentors, she pursued a career in education, earning her degree in secondary education with minors in English, literature, and religious studies from IUPUI. Her journey began in public education, where she grew both personally and professionally. However, after much prayer and reflection, Faith felt led to transition into Christian education, and she is excited to see how God will work through her at Heritage.

In her classroom, Faith strives to “encourage a lifelong love of both Christ and learning through the study of literature.” She believes that fostering this love is crucial for students to live in truth and obedience to the Lord. Faith incorporates her faith into her work by creating lessons grounded in biblical truth and striving to live a life that points others to Christ.

Faith is inspired by the “intentionality and love of Christ” evident in every aspect of life at Heritage. Outside of teaching, she enjoys attending sporting events with her husband, playing games with family and friends, reading, and exploring new activities like pickleball, hiking, and trying new restaurants. A fun fact about Faith is that she sang the National Anthem at her college graduation.
