Jaima Kinsler
5th Grade English Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher

Jaima Kinsler is a 5th grade English Language Arts and Social Studies teacher at HCS! After 19 years of teaching in public and Christian schools, Jaima was drawn to HCS through a journey deeply guided by prayer. "Our family chose HCS after attending an open house where we felt the passion from the staff and administration to glorify God and disciple students through all they do," she shares. Inspired by the school's commitment to these values, she knew she wanted to be part of the amazing work happening at HCS.
Jaima earned her degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University, Bloomington. In her classroom, she strives "to create a safe, loving environment where students are known, valued, and challenged, while also guiding them to understand Christ’s love for them." This focus on both academic and spiritual growth is central to her approach, as she consistently seeks opportunities to incorporate her faith into her work. "I always share ways we can look for God in the work we do," she explains.
Jaima most appreciates the strong commitment at Heritage Christian School to glorify God in all things, supported by a passionate administration, dedicated teachers, and a close partnership with parents.
Outside of school, Jaima enjoys spending time with her husband, Chad, and their two sons, Austin and Andrew. As a family, they love to explore the outdoors, whether hiking in the mountains or relaxing on the beach.
