Juliana Bragg - Kindergarten Teacher

Juliana Bragg

Kindergarten Teacher

Meet Juliana Bragg, one of our amazing Kindergarten teachers at Heritage! Teaching wasn’t always her plan—she originally was on the path to becoming a pediatric nurse, but felt God redirect her heart toward teaching just before her senior year of college. “It has been a joy being able to see the fruit of His faithfulness & Sovereignty in my life through teaching!”

Juliana is passionate about creating a Christ-centered, joyful learning environment for her students. “In my classroom at HCS, I strive to share the love and joy of Jesus with my students while helping them pursue a love for learning.” She cherishes the incredible growth that happens in Kindergarten—both academically and spiritually. “It is so sweet to see them learn more about the Lord, how to read, use numbers, and much more!” One of the most rewarding moments each year is seeing her students light up as they begin reading independently. “By our second semester, most of them are beginning to read by themselves in various capacities, and it is so amazing to see their joy and excitement in knowing they are readers!”

Faith is at the heart of Juliana’s teaching. Her class Bible verse is Psalm 118:24: “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” For her, this verse is a daily reminder that “each day is made new and that no matter what I may face each day, the Lord has so intentionally made each day. He reigns above all no matter what the day may bring.” She encourages her students to find joy in each new day, whether it feels good, bad, sad, scary, or happy, knowing that the Lord has a purpose for it.

When she’s not in the classroom, you can find her reading, traveling, or walking with her adorable beagle, Rosie. She and her husband, Braxton, love hunting for the best gluten-free restaurants. Fun fact—Juliana has a black belt in karate!

We are so grateful for the joy and passion she brings to HCS!
