Kimberly Galloway
Kindergarten Teacher

Even in high school, Kimberly knew she was called to teach. After earning her degree in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Indiana, she began her career in Florida, teaching in both Tampa and Fort Myers. When her first child was born, Kimberly stepped away from the classroom to focus on raising her family. A decade later and back in Indianapolis, she knew Heritage Christian School was where she wanted her kids to be. She quickly got involved as a parent—joining PTF, serving as a room mom, and volunteering wherever she could.
“Being part of the school community as a parent gave me a front-row seat to the warm, family-like atmosphere among the faculty and staff,” Kimberly shared. “It didn’t take long for me to realize that I didn’t just want to be part of Heritage as a parent, but I wanted to be part of it as an educator too.”
In her kindergarten classroom, Kimberly strives to help each child grasp “just how deeply Jesus loves them—far more than we could ever imagine.” She sees every day as an opportunity to remind students of their God-given value and purpose, and to build a strong foundation of faith that will carry them through every season of life.
“Teaching at Heritage gives me the incredible opportunity to integrate faith into every part of the day,” she says. “I also love the sense of community here; being among the teachers and staff truly feels like being with family.”
Outside of the classroom, Kimberly is a proud Heritage mom of three. Much of her free time is spent cheering on her kids at their activities. She also enjoys traveling, catching up with friends over coffee or dinner, and spending time outdoors.
