Jen Ringenberg - 1st Grade Teacher

Jen Ringenberg

1st Grade Teacher

Jen Ringenberg serves as a first grade teacher at Heritage, bringing more than two decades of experience in education to her classroom. While she once didn’t expect her journey to lead to Christian education, God reshaped her calling along the way. As He worked in her heart and deepened her understanding of discipleship, Jen felt a strong desire to help nurture the next generation of leaders for God’s kingdom. She is grateful to be part of the Heritage family and the ministry taking place each day on campus.

In her classroom, Jen strives to create a space where students feel “loved, known, and challenged.” By connecting learning to God’s creation, she consistently points students back to the Lord and lays a foundation for both academic growth and spiritual formation.

Jen is especially thankful to teach in a school where faith is openly shared and lived out. She loves telling her students what she has been reading in God’s Word and reminding them of how deeply God loves them. Prayer is woven naturally into each day as students share prayer requests and pray together. Through lessons, conversations, and reflection, Jen helps students see that “each part of creation points to the Creator.”

One of Jen’s most rewarding and humbling experiences at Heritage has been witnessing students accept Jesus as their Savior in her classroom. Moments like those serve as a powerful reminder of God’s goodness and faithfulness. “When that happens,” she shares, “you realize how good God is and how amazing it is to play a part in the watering of the seeds in these students’ hearts.”

Outside the classroom, Jen loves to travel with her family and explore national parks. Together, they have visited 45 of the 50 states, creating memories along the way and fueling their shared love for adventure.

We are thankful for Jen’s faithful presence at Heritage and the eternal impact she makes through discipleship, prayer, and intentional care for her students.
