Sabrina Davidson - Speech & British Literature Teacher

Sabrina Davidson

Speech & British Literature Teacher

Sabrina Davidson brings her love for literature, faith, and teaching into her role as the British Literature teacher for seniors and speech teacher at Heritage Christian School. She is dedicated to fostering both academic excellence and spiritual growth in her students.

Her career has been a testament to trusting in God’s plan. Originally from Fayetteville, Georgia, Sabrina and her family have answered God’s call to serve in several schools, including Sherwood Christian Academy in Albany, Georgia, and a school in Dayton, Tennessee. Reflecting on their journey, she says, “God constantly moves me out of my comfort zone, which has greatly increased my dependence on Him.” She is grateful for the blessings she has witnessed through her obedience to His calling.

Sabrina earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Christianity from Mercer University, followed by a Gifted endorsement and a Master’s degree in School Library Media from the University of West Georgia. Her educational background reflects her commitment to deepening her knowledge and sharing it with her students.

In the classroom, Sabrina creates a welcoming environment grounded in faith. “I strive to build relationships with my students to lay a foundation of trust through which to share the love of God and His free gift of salvation,” she shares. Each class begins with Scripture and prayer, fostering discussions that encourage students to develop a strong Biblical worldview. Her passion for British literature, combined with her faith, allows her to teach in a way that is both engaging and transformative.

For Sabrina, the relationships she has built with her colleagues and administrators have been one of the most fulfilling aspects of working at Heritage. “My department is filled with passionate teachers who go above and beyond each day to meet their students’ needs and challenge them to reach their full potential,” she says. This supportive community also extended a warm welcome to her family when they arrived at Heritage, helping them transition smoothly to a new state, city, and school.

A defining moment in Sabrina’s academic journey was studying abroad in Oxford, England, during her junior year of college. “That experience drew me closer to God than I had ever been before and filled me with a love of Britain and British Literature,” she recalls. Today, she draws on that experience to bring the works of British authors to life in her classroom.

Sabrina Davidson’s unwavering faith, dedication to her students, and love for literature have made her an integral part of the Heritage Christian School family. Her impact extends far beyond the classroom, shaping the hearts and minds of all who learn from her.
